My name is C. E. Witherow and I’m a queer thriller writer living in Rochester, NY with my border collie mix Shakespeare.
My debut novel Daisy, Plucked is coming out October 18th, 2024, and I can’t wait for it to be out in the world! You can learn more about it here.
about me
I grew up in Rochester and returned after completing my MA in English from SUNY New Paltz. I live with my rescue dog, Shakespeare, and I love getting to experience this city through new eyes since moving back.
I’m self publishing my debut novel, Daisy, Plucked, a sapphic YA retelling of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, on October 18th, 2024. I’m sharing about the process on TikTok and Instagram, so make sure to check out those platforms for updates!
I’ve had short stories published in Crab Fat Magazine and The Stonesthrow Review, and I’ve had poetry published in The Stonesthrow Review, The Shawangunk Review, and Lilac Mag.
