Hello and Welcome

Hi! I figured for my first post since on this blog I would introduce myself a little bit.
My name is Cat, and my pen name is C. E. Witherow. I love all kinds of books, from YA to fiction to memoir to poetry. I just finished getting my masters in English, so I’ve read things from just about every genre and every time period of modern English. I especially love stories by queer authors and about queer characters because I am queer and I love stories that accurately represent all of the realness of our community.
I’ll read just about anything if it catches my attention and is well written. I love a well written character, one with flaws and interests and that feel like they could walk off of the page and into real life.
I’m excited to share some of my current and favorite reads. I’ll definitely be sharing some of my all time favorites alongside what I think of all the newer books that I keep on buying even when I have 10+ unread books sitting on my bookshelves.
Right now I’m reading The Song of Achilles by Madeleine Miller and my next book on my TBR is Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid (I just finished Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones and the Six so I’m on a big TJR kick).
